Web Adaptive to Offer College Scholarship Grant for LGBTQ Students in the STEM Fields

LGBTQ undergraduate students in the fields of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics are encouraged to apply for the $1000 college scholarship grant offered by Web Adaptive. The annual scholarship will be available to students seeking to explore upcoming trends in web development technologies.

Web Adaptive will begin offering an annual $1000 college scholarship grant for LGBTQ individuals. The scholarship application will be open to any LGBTQ undergraduate students in the fields of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics [STEM] who are U. S. citizens with a minimum GPA of 2.5 or greater. The application period will close March 31, 2016, with the amount being awarded on April 15, 2016.

Members of this community are often under-represented in the STEM fields, especially computer science. As an LGBTQ-owned organization, it is goal of Web Adaptive to help correct that problem, and to encourage all members of society to learn basic programming. Through this college scholarship grant, Web Adaptive hopes to help ensure that LGBTQ individuals have equal access and opportunities to excel in the fields of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.
